You can request a price adjustment before making a purchase or within 7 calendar days after completing payment for your order. Simply reach out and let us know.
Qualifying Products and Competitors
To qualify for a price adjustment:
- The competing product must be identical to the product offered in our shop, including manufacturer, model, configuration, specifications, and included accessories.
- The competing product must be brand-new, unused, and supplied in the original manufacturer packaging or manufacturer-approved shipping container or crating.
- The competing offer must come directly from the manufacturer or from an authorized U.S. dealer in good standing with the manufacturer.
- The competing product must be genuinely available for purchase at the advertised price.
- The competing price and terms must be independently verifiable by us.
- The order must be delivered within the 48 contiguous United States or Washington, D.C.
We reserve the right to verify a competitor's dealer authorization and good standing with the manufacturer using reasonable evidence, such as manufacturer confirmation or an official authorized-dealer listing.
How We Compare Prices
We compare the total delivered price of the identical product to the same delivery destination.
For an approved price adjustment, we'll offer a total delivered price 1% lower than the qualifying competitor's total delivered price.
The 1% savings are calculated by multiplying the competitor's total delivered price by 0.01 and subtracting that amount from the competitor's price. The final adjusted price is rounded to the nearest cent.
For example, if a qualifying competitor's total delivered price is $600, we'll beat it by $6 (1%), bringing your adjusted price to $594.
This comparison includes applicable shipping, handling, freight, and mandatory delivery charges. For freight shipments, we also consider comparable delivery services and requirements, such as residential delivery and liftgate service.
Sales tax is excluded from the comparison.
Exclusions
Our Price Beat Guarantee does not apply to:
- Used, refurbished, open-box, demonstration, damaged, or altered merchandise.
- Clearance, liquidation, closeout, or auction pricing.
- Prices requiring coupons, promotional codes, rebates, or additional discounts.
- Wholesale pricing, individually negotiated offers, or prices not available to the general public.
- Offers from private sellers, unauthorized resellers, or sellers whose manufacturer authorization and good standing cannot be satisfactorily verified.
- Obvious pricing errors, fraudulent offers, or unverifiable listings.
- Discontinued or unavailable products that cannot actually be purchased or fulfilled.
- Price adjustments that would violate applicable manufacturer pricing agreements or dealer restrictions.
Ordinary advertised sale prices from qualifying competitors are eligible.
Price adjustments cannot be combined with other Dopwax Lapidary Shop coupons, discounts, or promotional offers.
How to Request a Price Adjustment
Before purchasing: Contact us with the competing offer. We'll review the information and, if the offer qualifies, provide a quotation reflecting our lower price. Once you approve the quotation, we'll issue an invoice detailing the agreed terms and providing a way to pay.
After purchasing: Contact us within 7 calendar days of completing payment for your order. Include your order number and information about the competing offer.
You may provide a product URL, screenshot, or written quotation. We must be able to independently verify the competing price, product, seller, availability, and delivery charges before approving a price adjustment.
Price Adjustments and Refunds
For an approved post-purchase price adjustment, we'll refund the difference between your original total delivered price and our adjusted price, which will be 1% below the qualifying competitor's total delivered price.
Any discounts already applied to your purchase will be considered when calculating the adjustment.
Only one approved post-purchase price adjustment is permitted per item.
Additional Terms
Price adjustments are subject to applicable manufacturer pricing agreements and dealer restrictions.
An approved price adjustment does not change the terms of our Returns Policy, Shipping Policy, Terms of Service, or applicable manufacturer warranties.
Nothing in this guarantee limits your rights under applicable law.
The version of this guarantee in effect when payment is completed governs post-purchase price-adjustment eligibility for that purchase.
